In general, Nico Rosberg viewed this weekend positive but not the best race today. Slightly quicker Button was obviously having a better day with his car and his tires, so he finished ahead of Rosberg and took the point. Rosberg said that it is a shame for everyone who has put in so much effort to leave with no reward. However, he said that this does not affect their position in the constructors' championship, but they need to start scoring consistently, particularly because they are now halfway through the season. |

| Drive-a-toyota Act for Upscale Environmental Lobbies |
The Senate Democrats in June forced energy legislation to increase Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards, requiring that automaker fleets hit an average of 35 miles per gallon by 2020 (up from today's 27.5 mpg). Detroit's Big Three (GM, Ford and Chrysler) warned Congress that this would add to their financial hurdles, making their vehicles even less competitive when compared with those by Toyota, Honda and other foreign automakers. The United Auto Workers warned that even a small mileage increase could cost over 65,000 jobs. |

| Toyota Exclusive Auto Sponsor of Ny Marathon Mix |
Toyota the producer of high quality Toyota parking brake cables will join the marathon that will take place on the streets of New York. The Japanese automaker and currently the world's largest automaker have signed a three-year contract to become the official and sole auto sponsor at both the ING New York City Marathon and the NYC Half Marathon presented by Nike. The financial portions of the deal were not disclosed but the Japanese automaker will feature its hybrid platform, including the Prius, Highlander SUV and the Camry Hybrid, via the regional TV and print, on-and off-course. |

| Hertz, Avis, Go for Prius Fleet |
Hertz Global Holdings Inc. has announced Thursday last week that it will spend $68 million to add 3,400 Toyota Prius hybrids to its fleets by 2008. Avis Budget Group Inc. meanwhile will be making 1,000 hybrid Prius vehicles available for rent as early as this week. |
